October 22 PTSA Community Meeting Summary Thank you to all of the parents who came to our first PTSA Community Meeting at Sherwood Forest Elementary on October 22! We had a great turnout of 25 people attending the meeting. For those who weren’t there, we introduced our new PTSA board members and shared our vision for the 2019-20 school year and our current and future PTSA activities for the year. Wear and share orange in support of bullying prevention   National UNITY DAY is October 23! Highland’s Unity Day Festival 2019 is Tuesday, October 22. On Tuesday, the school will build awareness and remind students to wear orange on the national day. No orange? That’s okay! Wear Highland blue! Reflections program - three students' art projects move forward to district level review We're excited to have received 8 submissions to the Relfections cultural arts program. Given that 9 submissions is the middle school average, we're proud of the number of Highland students who shared their talent and creativity! Congratulations to three students, Tomas Dagum, Megan Lisk, and Michelle Mostov, who will have their artwork move foward to district level review.
