October 22 PTSA Community Meeting Summary

Thank you to all of the parents who came to our first PTSA Community Meeting at Sherwood Forest Elementary on October 22! We had a great turnout of 25 people attending the meeting. For those who weren’t there, we introduced our new PTSA board members and shared our vision for the 2019-20 school year and our current and future PTSA activities for the year. Ms. Thomas also gave a principal’s update and Jack McLeod and Cindy King from BSD Facilities share about the progress of the new Highland building campus. Since last month was National Principal Month, we also celebrated Ms. Thomas with a “thank you cake.” All parents are welcome to attend our second PTSA Community Meeting scheduled for January 21, 2020!
